Weekly Prayers
I would like to pass on this invitation to pray from
Doug Haugen, LMM Executive Director.
That
every man grow in his relationship with Jesus Christ
through an effective men’s ministry in every
congregation.
This is
an invitation for you to join in prayer each week with
men throughout the church at noon on Wednesday... or
when you are able. We are praying for revival/renewal
for men throughout the ELCA and beyond. This includes
the men in your life, for the support of ministry with
men churchwide.
Our
prayer for all of us as leaders is that our spiritual
vision would be so clear that we would see
Jesus only (Matthew
17:8).
Men,
once again the purpose of these weekly encounters is to
pray for renewal, and revival in the church- beginning
with men. Let us be relentless in our prayer that this
ministry will be one that supports that renewal/revival
among men.
PLEASE PRAY
-
For
our leadership- including our staff, Board, Young
Men’s Ministry Council, Development Council, and
synod and congregational men’s leaders, that those
of us in leadership keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.
Our focus is for men to have a growing
relationship with Jesus.
-
For
Building Men for Christ leadership training and One
Year to Live retreats being planned in the months
ahead.
-
For
the men in your life and beyond- that they might
come to a deeper relationship with Jesus.
-
For
our ministry through leadership development, Bible
ministry, events and ministry with/to young men.
-
Thank God that through faithful supporters He
continues to supply the needs of LMM so that this
ministry continues to grow. Please continue to
pray.
Finally- please pray that those of us in leadership keep
our eyes fixed on Jesus. Our focus is for men to have a
growing relationship with Jesus.
On
behalf of the leadership of Lutheran Men in Mission-
thank you so much for your prayer support!
While
this is directed to the leadership of the LMM,
participation will help each of us in our relationship
with Jesus as we help in building a growing men's
ministry.
Your
Brother in Christ,
Dale Nettnin,
President, NCLMM
